Study on a Turbulent Boundary Layer Disturbed by a Cylinder—Effect of Cylinder Size and Positionmeasurement of streamwise and normal components of velocity fluctuations was also carried out. The distributions of mean velocities, turbulent intensities, turbulent shear stresses and studied features of coherent structures were found to significantly depend on the clearance-to-diameter ratio.
