Ostracod recovery in the aftermath of the Permian-Triassic crisis: Palaeozoic-Mesozoic turnoverher areas yield a first description of the timing of this turnover. First “typically modern” forms appear already in the Late Permian. The Early Triassic (Griesbachian to Spathian) ostracod faunas display a mixture of Palaeozoic and Mesozoic taxa.
