1-Hexene Polymerization Initiated by α-Diimine Nickel Dibromide / MAO Catalytic Systems : Inflg different alkyl groups (R= Me, iPr, tBu) on the phenyl ligand. Methylaluminoxane (MAO) was used as an activator. Kinetic and UV/visible spectroscopic studies show the strong influence of the phenyl alkyl substituents of the diimine ligands onto the polymerization process as well as on the polyhexenes characteristics.
