Automatic Configuration for VPN Using Active XMLis used as a proof of concept, and the Active XML technology provides the underlying Web Services technology with a Peer2Peer infrastructure. We present those technologies applied to network management as well as our prototype implementation, and we discuss the pros and cons of our solution and our future work.
