Characterizing the Performance of Task Reductions in OpenMP 5.X Implementations GCC/g++ and LLVM/Clang. Our results indicate that task reductions are well supported by both compilers, but their performance differs in some cases and is often determined by the efficiency of the underlying task management.

Using Off-the-Shelf Hardware Transactional Memory to Implement Speculative While in OpenMPs a result, it provides evidence to support the performance benefits of using STE over HTM to parallelize some well-known benchmarks. Experimental results reveal that by implementing SWh over HTM, speed-ups of up to 1.8. can be obtained for the . benchmark.

On the Migration of OpenACC-Based Applications into OpenMP 5+igration Tool for OpenACC to OpenMP API. We present the tool in this paper and discuss the singularities and commonalities of both programming models, and then we present the migration tool, discuss its implementation and its limitations, and present successful stories when migrating applications from OpenACC to OpenMP 5+.
