Solar equilibrium models and physical processes governing the solar internal structure,ure of the Sun are reviewed. In the second part, I present several tests done in order to compute a solar model with a relative accuracy of 3 x 10.. I also propose a modification of the difference method which allows to achieve the required accuracy with a relatively low number of mesh points.
