Previous (incomplete) specifications of GEO++ have been described in Wisskirchen, 1986b, concentrating on a modification of the PHIGS structure concept, and in Wisskirchen, 1989, introducing the overall concept of GEO++, but less complete and without considering the potential of inheritance.
