Determination of T-2 and HT-2 Toxins in Oats and Oat-Based Breakfast Cereals by Liquid-Chromatographater. The filtered extract is dried, reconstituted with a mixture of methanol and water, then purified on a polymeric solid-phase extraction cartridge. Toxins are finally eluted from the column with methanol and quantified by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection.
