Numerical simulation of interfacial flowsrator-splitting for temporal discretization and the level-set method for interface representation. This enables us to cover a wide range of interfacial flow regimes with high accuracy. The numerical simulations of bubble dynamics phenomena are presented to validate the proposed computational method.

Flood modelling using mixed-hybrid finite elementsons were performed for realistic terrain data. Various precipitation behaviors and terrain modifications (afforestation, river-bed constructions) are considered and the results show the possibility of reducing flood effects.

Explicit and implicit high-resolution finite element schemes based on the flux-corrected-transport anto a sum of internodal fluxes (rather than element contributions). In this way essentially one-dimensional flux correction tools can be applied on unstructured meshes. The proposed algorithm guarantees mass conservation and makes it possible to design both explicit and implicit FEM-FCT schemes based on a unified limiting procedure.
