Nuclear Command and Control in NATO,This chapter discusses the organisation of nuclear forces in NATO. It develops the discussion of collective decision-making at the political level, which was explored in the previous chapter, by focusing on the military level and seeking to explain how the forces were organised for collective defence under the strategy of flexible response.
