,On the Geometric Approach to Transformations of the Coordinates of Inertial Frames of Reference,In this paper we consider the problem of constructing coordinate transformations inertial reference systems based solely on geometric considerations. It is shown that within the framework of Euclidean geometry there are only three classes transformations, two of which correspond to the transformations of Galileo and Lorentz.
