Packet Timing: Precision Time Protocol,ersion 2 (IEEE1588-2008) and PTP version 2.1 (IEEE1588-2019), respectively. The PTP is considered a step forward in comparison to other packeting timing protocol such as NTP and provides highly accurate time. Depending upon implementation, a time accuracy of 100 ns to sub-microsecond is attainable.
