Numerical Investigation of the Effect of the High-Lift Configuration of a Transport Aircraft on its rried out. The main focus is to study to what extent the configurations meet a criterion for the accelerated destruction of wake vortices proposed by Rennich/Lele. Additionally a spatial direct numerical simulation of the wake up to 35 spans is presented for the airliner model in standard landing configuration.
