Large-scale structures and motions: Linear theory and statistics,on of random fields and point processes. Newtonian cosmological linear perturbation theory for density fluctuation growth is presented in both its Eulerian and Lagrangian formulations. The potential flow reconstruction algorithm is briefly described. A detailed presentation is given of the statistic
