A Quantitative Study on Acupuncture Effects for Fighting Migraine Using SPECT Images,the images. Differences among features extracted from pre– and post–acupuncture scans are quantified by means of Support Vector Machines for verum and sham modalities, and statistically reinforced by carrying out a statistical .–test. Alzheimer Disease Classification on Diffusion Weighted Imaging Features,e Pearson’s correlation between voxel values across subjects and the control variable giving the subject class (1 for AD patients, 0 for controls). Some of the tested classifiers reach very high accuracy with this simple feature selection process. Analysis of Spect Brain Images Using Wilcoxon and Relative Entropy Criteria and Quadratic Multivaririate classifiers with quadratic discriminant functions. The result of these two different classifiers is used to figure out the final decision.
