Estimating Neural Firing Rates: An Empirical Bayes Approachists a lower bound of rate fluctuations below which the optimal smoothness parameter diverges. We also show that the optimal smoothness parameter obeys asymptotic scaling laws, the exponent of which depends on the smoothness of underlying rate processes.伪证 发表于 2025-3-23 22:04:12
Hybrid Validation of Handwriting Process Modellingn models show a satisfactory agreement between responses of the developed models and the experimental Electromyographic signals (EMG) data then the efficiency of the proposed approaches. Applying the study is very interesting to elaborate a helpful system to those who suffer from physical handicaps.背叛者 发表于 2025-3-24 02:09:44

Improving Risk Predictions by Preprocessing Imbalanced Credit Datapling is related to the type of classifier. Experimental results demonstrate that learning with the resampled sets consistently outperforms the use of the original imbalanced credit data, independently of the classifier used.hypnogram 发表于 2025-3-24 18:17:20
Off-Line Handwritten Arabic Word Recognition Using SVMs with Normalized Poly Kerneln database, IFN/ENIT-database, which contains 936 city names with more than 32,492 instances, is used to test the proposed system. The results of this novel approach are compared with the results of two different studies. The comparison shows that a higher accuracy rate is obtained using the proposed system.有常识 发表于 2025-3-24 22:46:17

The Elastic Net as Visual Category Representation: Visualisation and Classification. Finally, inspired by biological vision we propose a new Visual Categorisation scheme that uses ENs as visual category representations. Our method shows promising results when tested on the Caltech101 data set with several interesting future directions.
