Glia-Promoting Factors and the Control of Oligodendroglial Growth During Brain Development and Regenion of neural networks. The contributions that astroglia, oligodendroglia, and microglia make to brain function are incompletely understood and include the support of tissue structure, production of myelin membrane, or mediation of inflammatory responses. One way to explore these cellular functions is to determine when and how glia are activated.
