Markovian Modelling of Internet Trafficze distribution. The accuracy of the fitting procedures is evaluated by comparing the long range dependence properties, the probability mass function at each time scale and the queuing behavior corresponding to measured and synthetic traces generated from the inferred models.

Queueing Networks with Blocking: Analysis, Solution Algorithms and Propertiesd approximate algorithms, and some network properties. We discuss the conditions under which exact solutions can be derived, and criteria for the appropriate selection of approximate methods. We present equivalence properties among different types of blocking types, the analysis of heterogeneous networks, and some application examples.
