,Implementations of Dijkstra’s Algorithm Based on Multi-Level Buckets,A 2-level bucket data structure has been shown to perform well in a Dijkstra’s algorithm implementation . In this paper we study how the implementation performance depends on the number of bucket levels used. In particular we are interested in the best number of levels to use in practice.

Solving the Nonadditive Traffic Equilibrium Problem, simply the sum of the costs on the arcs that constitute that path. The method we describe is based on the recent NE/SQP algorithm, a fast and robust technique for solving nonlinear complementarity problems. Finally, we present an example that illustrates both the importance of using nonadditive costs and the effectiveness of the NE/SQP method.

,ɛ-Relaxation and Auction Methods for Separable Convex Cost Network Flow Problems,ying framework for the ∈-relaxation method and the auction/sequential shortest path algorithm and, as a consequence, we develop a unified complexity analysis for the two methods. We also present computational results showing that these methods are much faster than earlier relaxation methods, particularly for ill-conditioned problems.
