Todt had deliberately moved slowly in “coordinating” engineers, but now could accelerate efforts to inculcate National Socialist principles in the profession, as well as gain more technocratic authority for engineers.

Educating Engineers: The Plassenburg School and ,r, and then overseen by Todt, became the purest expression of Nazi technical thought. Its focus shifted over time from agro-romantic anti-capitalism to stressing economic autarchy to preparing engineers for war.
