The Lagrangian Formalismies for a general Field Theory. The approach based on the Poincaré-Cartan form is also briefly discussed. Then symmetries and conserved quantities are defined and obtained by Nöther theorem. Finally some useful generalizations of symmetries and, consequently, of Nöther theorem are presented.

Gauge Natural Theoriesuld master gauge natural bundles together with their lift properties as well as Lie derivatives (see Chapter 5) and the Lagrangian formalism introduced in Chapter 6. Natural theories in Chapter 7 are very similar to the gauge natural case. The reader should thence also have some ideas about the material contained in Chapter 7.

Book 2003natural, so that they are a paradigmatic example of the intriguing relations between gauge natural geometry and physical phenomenology. In particular, the gauge natural framework for spinors is developed in this book in full detail, and it is shown to be fundamentally related to the interaction between fermions and dynamical tetrad gravity.

Book 2003spinors in full detail. Spinor fields in particular appear to be the prototypes of truly gauge-natural objects, which are not purely gauge nor purely natural, so that they are a paradigmatic example of the intriguing relations between gauge natural geometry and physical phenomenology. In particular,

A frequently expressed view of Heidegger is that while . offers a profound critique of the Cartesian subject, the existential analysis of . still remains within the bounds of a traditional or “modern” view of the subject. This latent, modern view of the subject
