Modeling Nanomaterials, approaches to characterizing and describing nanomaterials were considered. As in any field of science, however, we cannot truly understand nanomaterials unless we can develop mathematical models for them. This chapter focuses on the modeling approaches that are appropriate for nanomaterials.
