Baryon resonance experiments at COSYning theory and experiment is required. One class of observables are properties of baryon resonances. In this article results are presented, achieved with the experiments ANKE and COSY-TOF concerning excited hyperons, the . .-pentaquark and .*-resonances decaying into strangeness.

In this contribution some of the early achievements in the field of baryonic resonances are reviewed, the recent evidence of the two-pole nature of the .(1405) is discussed and results on charmed baryon resonances are presented.
