Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy with Autofluorescent Proteins, their genetically encoded fusions to cellular proteins. This review discusses recent applications of FCS analysis with and on fluorescent proteins, particularly highlighting chemical and physical properties. Inherent limitations of the presented approaches are discussed in detail and strategies for optimisation of experimental systems outlined.
