Automated Macular Pathology Diagnosis in Retinal OCT Images Using Multi-Scale Spatial Pyramid with Lmance. We use 2-class Support Vector Machine classifiers to identify the presence of normal macula and each of the three pathologies. Four instances of three-phase contrast enhanced computed tomography (CT) images of porcine liver were used in the evaluation. The results showed improved accuracy over common approaches and illustrated the method’s suitability for simulation purposes.
