Halothane Inhibits Binding of Calcium Channel Blockers to Cardiac Sarcolemmaic changes in intracellular calcium which occur during contraction. These sites are the sarcolemma, the sarcoplasmic reticulum, and the myofibrils. This paper is directed towards our investigations of one constituent of the sarcolemma, the voltage-dependent calcium channel (VDCC), and its probable alteration by the volatile anesthetic, halothane.
