Ubuntu Human Nature-Based Theory of Justice,from both the traditional African conceptions of being human and the modern theories of ubuntu. I reconstruct ubuntu as a version of virtue ethics that builds on insights regarding human nature. This leads to the development of ubuntu normative virtue ethics. I will then develop the ubuntu virtue meaning of justice.

Divine Gift Theory of Justice,m God as a gift. This thinking informs the notion of justice that draws on the divine nature. This will lead to conceptualising the ‘divine justice,’ (God’s justice) and human justice. The chapter also engages with other beliefs in this context, such as the ancestors’ role in justice.

Vitalogical Theory of Justice,ossible interpretation is that the communitarians were more aggressive at promoting their views favouring African identity and unity. Nevertheless, vitalism has interesting insights, mainly in ethics, metaphysics, and theology.
