Some exact solutions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation2+1)-D Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in terms of squares of Jacobian elliptic functions. The corresponding limit solutions such as triangular solutions, solitary wave solutions, and singular solutions in the case of the modulus of the elliptic function approaching 0 and 1 have also been derived.
