The Netherlands,Judgments or orders from the Courts are necessary for an enforced sale of vessels. There is one exception. An enforced sale can be made on the basis of a mortgage deed executed before a Netherlands Notary Public.

Germany,nst the shipowner. There is one exception to this general rule. A notarial deed signed before a German Notary Public, in which the shipowner declares unconditional submission to immediate enforced execution on his property, is also sufficient. Such a deed is often used in connection with mortgages on ships as additional security.

Japan,e vessel, a compromise and an admission of the claim entered in the court record and a deed drawn by a notary public stating therein that the Owner of the vessel has no objection to the immediate execution.
