Interactions Between the Whitefly , and Begomoviruses: Biological and Genomic Perspectives research during the last decade include the route of the virus in the insect organs and cells, the influence of the virus on the insect’s behavior and transcriptome, the proteins that mediate begomovirus translocation and the role of bacterial symbionts in this phenomenon. These topics are summarized and discussed in this chapter.
