Lithium Tantalate,Lithium tantalate is a new single crystal material with interesting electrooptic, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties. Although it has not been as thoroughly investigated as other electrooptic materials, it has important applications in transverse light modulators and other devices.

Potassium Dideuterium Phosphate (KDDP),Potassium dideuterium phosphate (abbreviated KDDP or KD✻P), an isomorph of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP), has been fairly well explored as an electrooptic material and has found a number of applications as an electrooptic modulator crystal in various devices. The material is also piezoelectric as well as ferroelectric in nature.
