,Lectures 13–16: Nervous System,The Nervous System consists of the Central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the Peripheral nervous system (neural tissue outside of the CNS). Cells = neurons (cell body + axon) and neuroglia (support cells). Bundles of axons constitute a nerve. Cranial nerves connect to the brain. Spinal nerves connect to the spinal cord.
