Servant Leadership in Catholic Schools: ‘Whoever Wants to Become Great Among You Must Be Your ServanThis chapter explores some of the ramifications of servant leadership. It begins by comparing servant leadership in a secular context with servant leadership in a Christian context. Implications of servant leadership for leaders in Catholic schools today will be illustrated with reference to examples of servant leadership from my own experience.

The focus then shifts to contrasting this theme with the way Christian scriptures characterise the leadership of Jesus.
