On the Feasibility of Nuclear Pumping of Gas Lasers is to directly convert fission energy, the largest part of which is the kinetic energy of charged particles (fission fragments), into laser light. Theory of Magnetically Induced Rotation and a Dynamo Effect in Laser Plasmasorem concerning rotation of theta-pinches and denying the effects is shown to be based on a too simplified continuum plasma description.
