Synchronization-Free Automatic Parallelization: Beyond Affine Iteration-Space Slicing, ces to be executed in parallel, enclosing sequential loops iterating over those slices. Experimental results demonstrate that the generated code is competitive with that generated by state-of-the-art techniques scanning polyhedra.

Automatic Data Distribution for Improving Data Locality on the Cell BE Architecture, uate our compiler using a range of computation intensive benchmarks, high performance is achieved on Cell platform. In contrast to OpenMP, our method can fully exploit data locality through managing the shared data using inter-processor communication instead of accessing main memory, which significantly reduces the off-chip memory access overhead.

A Balanced Approach to Application Performance Tuning, necks. We present case studies on applications from several independent software vendors (ISVs) on a SMP Xeon Core 2 platform. These strategies help discover problems related to memory access locality and loop unrolling that lead to a sequential performance improvement of a factor of 2.

Conference proceedings 201009 in Newark Delaware, USA. Since 1986, LCPC has became a valuable venueforresearchersto reportonworkinthegeneralareaofparallelcomputing, high-performance computer architecture and compilers. LCPC 2009 continued this tradition and in particular extended the area of interest to new parallel computing

Programming with Intervals,ls by showing how to use them to emulate common parallel control-flow constructs like barriers and signals, as well as higher-level patterns such as bounded-buffer producer-consumer. We have implemented intervals as a publicly available library for Java and Scala.
