The DMLL in Language Learningve, and guided by the four levels of the DMLL. These are described in terms of a roadmap to linguaculture learning. A four-step approach to course planning is introduced that conceptualizes language learning in terms of a journey, and in terms of having a relationship with the foreign language. Examples of activities using this approach are given.
