Endliche Kombinatorik,in der einen oder anderen Art häufig im Arbeitsalltag von Informatikern auf. Man will z.B. wissen, wie lange es dauern würde, einfach alle möglichen Lösungen eines gewissen Problems durchzuprobieren, wenn es zu aufwendig oder zu kompliziert erscheint, einen besseren Algorithmus zu finden.
