In an attempt to explain this anomaly Kettemann . described the interacting tunneling systems in a glass by noninteracting two-level systems with a strongly renormalized effective charge . ≈ 10.e. Giant Magnetoresistance of a Single Interfaceure and the magnetic properties were investigated by X-ray reflectometry, X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy and SQUID magnetization measurements. The magnetoresistance was measured by a four contact method at 4.2 and 300 K up to a magnetic field of 12 T with current in plane (CIP) for parallel (.∥.) and transversal (. ⊥ .) geometries.

In particular, the observed Fano lineshape of the Kondo resonance reveals details of the quantum mechanical interference between the localized orbital and the conduction electrons .
