Blutbezeichnet. Das Blutplasma besteht zu rund 90 Vol.% aus Wasser und zu 10 Vol.% aus Elektrolyten, gelösten Gasen, Proteinen (Albumine, Globuline) und Stoffwechselprodukten. Die annähernd gleichbleibende Zusammensetzung dieser Blutbestandteile gewährleistet u. a. einen relativ konstanten osmotischen Druck und pH-Wert.
