Die Atombewegungen,llen äußeren Kräften. Theorien , die ein in irgend einer Hinsicht variables Atom voraussetzen , halte ich für unzulässig. Die chemische Affinität eines Atoms, die Zahl seiner Valenzen, ihre Richtung zueinander im Raum, ist invariabel. Wechselnd ist nur die Bewegung der Atome als Ganzes.
