Anwendungen in den Sozialwissenschaften,men (zumindest als Arbeitshypothese), daft die zugrundeliegende Dynamik die Anwendung der Katastrophentheorie zuläßt. Wir wählen darin Größen aus, die uns als Zustands- und Kontrollariablen geeignet erscheinen und versuchen, den Beobachtungen ein Katastrophenmodell anzupassen.
