Behaviour of the iron line in Cygnus X-1 during dips and persistent emission, dips. For one dip a broad emission line (FWHM ~ 2.6 keV) at 5.8 keV can be seen. This behaviour is discussed in terms of Comptonisation of the incident X-rays in relatively cold material, possibly associated with the stellar wind of the secondary.
