Some Classes of Stochastic Processes, need to emphasize that in the majority of practical situations this type of condition is far from being satisfied. Thus, it is necessary to utilize stochastic processes of a more complex character. In this chapter we shall discuss classes of processes that are most fruitfully applied in queueing theory.

Problems of Queueing Theory under the Simplest Assumptions,rs arriving at a queueing system. Thus, in order to calculate particle loss in a counter, we must know how the particles enter the counters. Similarly, when the operation of a telephone exchange is implemented, we must take into account the special features of the stream of subscriber-to-exchange calls.
