Monitoring and Modulating Intracellular Cholesterol Trafficking Using ALOD4, a Cholesterol-Bindingthis question. ALOD4 traps cholesterol at the PM, leading to depletion of ER cholesterol without altering total cell cholesterol. The effects of ALOD4 are reversible.
