The Methodology Cycle as the Basis for Knowledge, their own terms. This is inadequate on epistemological grounds. We have introduced the system of methodology – the Methodology Cycle back in 1997. In this chapter, we examine the implications of different ways of using the cycle for research purposes and show how it is the necessary basis for teaching methodology at all levels of education.
