C, N, P and S in Rivers: From Sources to Global Inputsaviours in aquatic systems, the occurrence of their specific forms, and the rates of transport by rivers are first considered in this paper. The anthropogenic influences on riverine C, N, P, and S are briefly presented. Finally the global fluvial budgets of the specific forms, including the anthropogenic loads are estimated.

The Coupling of Carbon and Ion Cycles Including N, P and S in Soils of Terrestrial Ecosystems. In the context of the 1991 NATO conference, ecosystem processes describing storage changes in the ecosystem were of main concern. The aspects of biochemical and chemical reactions in soil which are involved in the cycles are not discussed; these are covered in many textbooks.
