Agents and Objects: Towards Component Integration for Manufacturing Systems Re-engineeringdel and the agent template, reflecting this model are proposed. Agents coordinate their activities using a communication and control language (currently, restricted version of KQML) and DCOM/ActiveX interaction mechanisms.
