Gait Recognition Based on Partitioned Weighting Gait Energy Image,ed and a fusion of classifiers is adopted. We test our method on the USF database. Our average recognition rate is 48.87%, which is higher than GEI by 6% and higher than gait flow image (GFI) by 5.79%. The experimental results prove the effectiveness of our proposed PWGEI method.

Salience-Based Prototype Selection for K-Nearest Neighbor Classification in Multiple-Instance Learnion (MISPS) method to tackle the above problems in MIL. Then we present two variants of Citation-kNN and Bayesian-kNN based on MISPS, called MISPS-CkNN and MISPS-BkNN. Experimental results on five benchmark data-sets show that MISPS is effective and our MISPS-based algorithms are competitive to the state-of-the-art.

Calibrate a Moving Camera on a Linear Translating Stage Using Virtual Plane + Parallax,slating stage which can slide on a linear track. Extensive experiment results demonstrate that our approach can enhance detail and quality of the occluded objects effectively compared to the fixed camera array synthetic aperture imaging approach.

Understanding the Top Grass Roots in Sina-Weibo,ries using text classification methods based on the Bag of Words (BOW) model. We find that, using Naïve Bayes, it is possible to achieve high accuracy in recognizing the topic of a message but the popularity of a message cannot be reliably predicated based on its contents. These findings are also further explored with visualization techniques.
