Modeling Information Diffusion in Social Networks Using Latent Topic InformationWe propose a learning-based framework which uses user interests and content similarity modeled using latent topic information, along with the features related to the social network. We evaluate our model on data obtained from a well-known social network platform - Twitter. The experiments show a significant improvement over the existing methods.

Parameters Selection for Support Vector Machine Based on Particle Swarm OptimizationM classifier. Authors have optimized the SVM classifier design by searching for the best value of the parameters that tune its discriminant function. The experiments are conducted on the basis of benchmark dataset. Fourteen obtained results clearly confirm the superiority of the PSO-SVM approach.
