Das ISDN im investirions-, industrie- und fernmeldepolitischen Kontextch sieht der Netzvergleich auch in anderen Ländern aus! Spezialnetze sind in aller Regel Verlustquellen für die PTTn! Deshalb ist es verständlich, daß man weltweit nach Möglichkeiten sucht, möglichst viele Fernmeldedienste in einem einheitlichen Netz anzubieten.

Die Entwicklung der Dienste im ISDNkation soll im folgenden zunächst grob umrissen werden, was sich hinter der Abkürzung “ISDN” verbirgt und welche Vorzüge ein ISDN besitzt. Der Schwerpunkt der Ausführungen wird anschließend auf der Entwicklung der Dienste im ISDN liegen und damit das künftige Dienstleistungsangebot der Deutschen Bundespost im ISDN darstellen.
